Reversing Degenerative Diseases thru Soil Regeneration

Dear friends of the soil (isn’t that all of us?)

On June 14, I hosted a small Soil Conference in Chimacum, Washington. We talked about how to regenerate soils and produce nutrient-dense food and how to sequester carbon in soils and farming systems. I had been studying in preparation for the conference and that led me to Dan Kittredge and the Bionutrient Food Association. Here is a report on my June 13 conversation with Dan Kittredge, founder and director of the Bionutrient Food Association. I expect there will be a lot more information on soil following my June 14 conference.

March 8 Update on Keynote Talks

We have 6 distinguished keynote speakers on the agenda at our 1st MHG&MC.

We wanted the diversity and perspective of more keynote speakers so none of them have a big block of time. More like a TED talk.

Keynote Speakers:

Ann Armbrecht of the Sustainable Herbs Project and producer of the film Numen will present on “the Sustainable Herbs Project and its relevance to the Conference and the herb movement in general.” Friday Evening plenary. 7:45 – 8:15

Radical Mycology founder, Peter McCoy is coming to the MHG&MC!

We are thrilled to announce that Peter McCoy is joining us to help develop the Radical Herbology Track at the conference. Peter is the leading light behind starting the Radical Mycology movement that was birthed at a 2011 Radical Mycology conference held outside of Port Townsend, Washington. Five years later, Peter will be back in Port Townsend to help birth the Radical Herbology movement. Welcome Peter (and all the other radical herbologists who show up).
