Saturday 9:45 – 10:15 am
Saturday 8:00 – 8:30 pm
Intensives
There are two Friday Intensives. They cost an extra $50.
Peg Schafer, Chinese Medicinal Herb Farm.
Jeff Carpenter, Zack Woods Herb Farm.
Workshops
There will be many workshops by one or two people. A lot of these will be power points, along with a few hands-on activities. There will be 6 workshop periods, 3 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. Each session is one and a half hours. We expect to run 8 to 10 workshops concurrently at each session including panels, round tables and action planning sessions.
Panels
There will be lots of panels. Most tracks will have a panel. Mostly on Saturday. Each panel can have 3 to 5 people. They can each address the topic and together answer questions.
Round Table Discussion Groups
Sit in a circle. Everyone can be part of the discussion. Contributing to a greater understanding by the whole.
Action Planning Sessions.
Held on Sunday they are the culminating meeting for the tracks who wish to plan ongoing work. Goals, communication, assignments, tasks. The Conference is an opportunity to get some balls rolling.
There will be a high level of expertise among conference participants. Panels, round tables and action planning sessions allow for more people to contribute to the discussion.
A multitude of private conversations in the hallways, at the meal tables, at the trade show or in our accommodations will be an important part of the conference.
